At first I had my own projects that involved troubleshooting problems with motors, lights, or even VFDs and correcting the issue. Then, as the internship continued I became more of a supporting Engineer. This entailed reading through technical documents and creating drawings for the new systems being installed."

The administrative infrastructure is reflective of the coal power generation facilities. It all works but it is not efficient. If you are looking for a cutting edge opportunities then look elsewhere. "If you are power engineer, First Energy is a great place to work. This applies to both experienced and new graduates."

What don't you like about working at First Energy?

"The company is a great company. It is currently the largest energy company in the US. There is nothing I would say I don't like about First Energy."

"The Management is great. There are a lot of training opportunities both internal and external. I just ask that they continue the good work."
