"I've worked with First American SMS from 2006/2007 and came back to work for them from 2012/2014. Due to down revenue I was laid off, but my time there was an honor to work for them. In the time I worked there I found valuable team members constantly striving to achieve and surpass any goals set, which has helped me excel to a professional technical person I am today."

What don't you like about working at First American Title?

"The way company treats employees and customers is a very black and white non empathetic non caring, non common sensical attitude. Makes little to no exceptions for personal life schedule such as schooling outside of work hours, if you are needed during hrs they need you for. Ridiculous expectations/ requirements. No grace period on attendance can be written up for being just one minute late. Is considered an incident for missing work regardless of reason/ emergency. Had to chose between work and school and most recently had death in family but had I left on family emergency due to member in hospital dying would have been considered an incident and grounds for write up or termination. By far worst company I've ever worked for. Highly stressful job and not taken into consideration when firing people for minute reasons. Have seen people written up for having to take their baby to the emergency room because they might have swine flu because any unexcused absence is considered an incident and have to notify 2 wks in advance like you can plan illness, death or accidents...."
