Submit a Review"Love being able to help and educate people around comprehensive financial planning. Being able to manage my own schedule, uncapped income and be able to be appointed with other insurance companies, and able to meet other professionals in the community and build professional relationships. What I hate: prospecting, clients not returning phone calls when needed. Clients not taking the initiative in moving forward towards their retirement, investments and insurance plan. Not enough time in the day."

"the job is not meant to retain employees, just grab the businees you have on the board then hit the streets."

"compensation was absorbed by expenses that should have been company covered."

"stop nickel and diming your representatives with frivolous expenses that serve no productive purpose but are mandatory to fulfill position. i.e. paying for paper used on appointments, coffee charge, water charge, parking charge, laptop charge, software charge, LPL charge, etc."

"Remember it is 100% commission. It can be a great job if you have the resources to stick it out."

"100% commission is hard during economic down turns."

"Keep going. Financial planning is a great career and I wish I had more time to spend in it."
