"Pay a great deal of attention to the pay structure, the advancement opportunities, and study very hard at your craft."
What don't you like about working at MetLife?
"The inability to move into management. This was my primary objective."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Streamlining processes and limiting the time it takes to finish projects would increase productivity."

"Most enthusiastic, motivating boss, who taught with passion."
What do you like about working at MetLife?
"The firm sponsored me while studying for and acquiring my series 7, 66, L&H and multiple other licenses. In addition, due to the Sr Partners' passion for what they did, it was the best learning experience in how to help clients, and the best way to get to what is on a client's mind. Time management and client management were the highest focus."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The only tip I have for others is to ensure that there is clarity on both sides (expectations of both parties)."
What don't you like about working at MetLife?
"Unfortunately while a full service brokerage firm, there was always an under-riding push to particular products."

"If an employee comes on board with the desire and assurance of a particular focus, ensure those expectations are met."

"Friendly environment, great mentors, was able to make my own schedule, great internal training, an office that wanted to see everyone succeed"

"Have a postive attitude and be ready to work hard because the work will not come to you, you have to go get it."
What don't you like about working at AXA Advisors?
"There wasn't a lot I did not like. My mentors were always supportive and would help out however they could. With the market crash it was hard to get anyone to commit for business, making it hard to earn money."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management was very knowledgable and supportive with their training. Only thing I might've liked is a little more one-on-one to see more about the entire process from how a higher-up handled everything from beginning to end."

"Independence and relative schedule freedom."
