"Do not make plans, you will only have to break them. Once they have you in a position you are not going to get to move."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Seek formal training, and promote those who have some. Continual promotion from only those with seniority will leave you short. Seek those with qualifications first, then if you dont get what you need you may need to look outside the company. It seems like they are willing to train in order to avoid paying for someone qualified for the position."
