"As a recent new hire, my time at FedEx Express has been very influential in my professional growth. I have enjoyed working for my manager and am grateful for the training, experience, and wisdom I gained throughout my time in the Houston Metro workgroup."
"FedEx - your final career frontier."
What do you like about working at FedEx?
"I have worked for several organizations, both public and private, before and after my employment with FedEx. Having said that, FedEx remains the benchmark I use to measure all other organizations by. FedEx PSP Philosophy (People-Service-Profit) is ingrained in each and every employee and decision that is made. Furthermore, their BZ process is such a motivator to go above and beyond each and everyday. They truly make you feel like you can walk on water."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are offered a position with FedEx, consider yourself blessed and enjoy your future with an employer who really cares about its customers and employees equally."
What don't you like about working at FedEx?
"FedEx makes you feel so good about you and your abilities, you start to believe that the same philosophy is true elsewhere, only to find yourself not walking on water, but drowning in a sea of red tape, bureaucracy and in-fighting."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep up the PSP and BZs. I was sorry to learn the pension plan is no longer available. Never, ever, offer another voluntary severance, I do not want anyone else to feel my pain."
