Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Lie. They believe whatever you say. Say it with passion so it's believable, but if you lie, you'll be fine."

What don't you like about working at FedEx?

"Everything. The hours are horrible, demands on work, the awful 'masculine' society it breeds by the ghetto ass people they hire. Workers don't show up because the work sucks."

What do you like about working at FedEx?

"It was a place to be between jobs that paid the bills. There was occasionally an opportunity to feel that you were helping a customer with a problem."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure that you review your standard behavioral interviewing questions such as 'Describe a situation when you went the extra mile for a customer' and 'Tell me about a time when you suspected a coworker of doing something dishonest'. The hiring person is always the center manager or the district manager. The recruiters are just weeding out the first round."

What don't you like about working at FedEx?

"You were reminded every day that you were replaceable. You were often treated in a demeaning manner. There was no work / life balance. Company direction changed often - there was no consistency in leadership. This is definitely an organization where your advancement is controlled by who you know, not what you know because what you learn will be controlled by those higher than you. If you're not on the inside, you won't get any career development attention."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Treat your employees with respect. Pick a direction for the company and STICK WITH IT."

Center Manager

"Don't make this mistake!"
