"I've worked at FAST for a year. The pay and benefits are awesome, nearly unmatched for a junior level position, but besides that, it’s not the best job for right out of college. Often quite slow, not a ton of code, very old tech stack, and taxes are really, really boring. The culture is fun and the people who work there are great, however."

However, It is common on many sites that you will work a large amount of overtime and will not have a good work-life balance."

"FAST has a terrible work life balance. Overtime is often mandatory. Average work weeks are in the 60+ on the low end and around 80 hrs is normal during a rollout. FAST likes to agree to very aggressive implementation timeframes which require employees to give every waking minute of every day 7 days a week 365 days a year. Don't expect weekends or holidays off."

"The company has great benefits and great compensation, in 3 years I had doubled my base salary. The company is fairly flat, and it is difficult to move up due to that. The job includes moving every few years.The level of programming knowledge needed is low, and you probably won't come out of this job with much more than you brought in. This is due to the fact that most of the work done is in propitiatory software that does not require you to actually program beyond some VB.Net and SQL."

"In my final position as Dir. Of Admin., it was difficult to plan down time (vacations)."

"Management needs to offer the administrative side of the company the abiltiy to have down time as easily as it is offered to the operational side of the company."
