"I liked taking care of my customers and increasing sales for profitability.Being able to use my customer service skills and teaching them to my staff for there success.No customers you have no business."

"Make sure you get compensated for the extra hours you work because I assure you there will be plenty because its a salaried position."

What don't you like about working at Family Dollar?

"I feel that the company has put a workload on the managers that could not be accomplished properly without giving up your family life.Even with delegating to my Assistants Mgrs. and staff.If you wanted to put in 62-68 hours a week the job could get done but when your hired for 52 hours and I understand that in retail there are times you need to put extra hours in but not on a regular basis."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"When hiring be honest about the amount of hours your hiring for so the person has an idea.Not tell them its a 52 hour work week knowing the job cant properly get done without putting in at least an extra 10 hours a week."

"Always be enthusiastic not only about your job, but for your customers. Let them know you are there for them, to help them and earn their respect. When you do this, you will accomplish ( not only satisfying the customer but) improve productivity for the company and gain loyal (referals) and satisfied customers. which will increase sales and profits."
