Drum roll please… CareerBliss is proud to announce the Happiest Retail Employers for 2015. This time every year we pore through our data to see which retail employees find their workplace the happiest. We welcome a few new employers to the Happiest Retailers list, while at the same time some of the same companies have made their second appearance from previous years.
Impressing retail workers everywhere and making the list at least two years in a row are: Ikea, Apple Stores, Barnes & Noble, and Lowe's. In order to make this list two years in a row, these retailers would need to champion workplace factors such as company culture, compensation, growth opportunities, work environment and more.
Serving up more than cappuccino, Starbucks has entered the 2015 Happiest retailers as the Happiest Retailer. Starbucks’ employees describe benefits for part time employees, growth opportunities and atmosphere as reasons for their ratings.
"Despite recent excitement about Starbucks marketing choices with their infamous Red Cup, Starbucks has high marks where it counts: employee happiness. The employee reviews on CareerBliss rank Starbucks as the number one retail employer in the United States when it comes to employee happiness,” says Heidi Golledge, CareerBliss Chief Happiness Officer and CoFounder of CareerBliss.
