"unbelievable gross mismanagement"

What do you like about working at ExpertTire?

"While I was Employed for two years at Expert Tire there were a really good group of guys that worked along side me, that really cared about the people they served."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are a conformist who will, follow blindly and ask no questions than expert tire is the place for you. Also severe moral and ethical degradation is big plus (i.e. ripping off old ladies, stealing, and practicing generally shady business tactics) Apply today at expert tire! Seriously though, I was worked ragged, like 70 to 80 hours a week, while unprepared managers fumbled to fill positions that should have never been left vacant in the first place, and then discarded after I began to question their motivation for leaving an unfit person in a management position."

What don't you like about working at ExpertTire?

"After the issues with the economy began to affect our business the district management opted to change Store managers, the new store manager had many professional, moral, ethical, and legal issues. Needless to say as a store (except the manager in question) we went to our district staff for help. We received none, rather OUR positions were threatened. It even went as far as to have a state police trooper come to our store due to theft of pa state inspection stickers, afterward the store manager admitted to district staff that he took the stickers himself, nothing was done. We were told as a store to make this work or district would clean house and start over Confusing isn't it So I pursued another avenue, I contacted our corporate store auditor, a phone number that I found after no less than an Indiana Jones type treasure hunt. One week later that manager was history. Unfortunately two months later the district staff informed me that I was no longer needed at Expert Tire. No surprise, after all I was warned that if I didn't make it work with the crooked store manager I would be terminated."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"An extremely close look at the people who are in the district office. I feel that the district staff is inadequate and lacks proper management skill. Simply put, a gross deficit of moral and ethical business practice. These people were going to allow a thief, who was swindling customer out of money for unnecessary repairs, some of which were never even performed on that customers vehicle to run their store! Not to mention that he openly admitted to district staff the he had stolen money, and state safety inspection stickers (Some of these issues are LEGAL issues)! These men were attempting to allow this man to continue to do these things because they were making a profit, be it monetary or performance."
