"Team ethics is the core to the success of a team or even organization. As a leader, management needs to define clearly their employees' functions, assist them in problem solving, be proactive in finding good and effective ways to take the team further toward the success. Fairness, respect, effective communication, and enthusiasm are other important factors that management can't miss."

"Negotiate the best deal you can. You won't be getting much in raises even when the economy is good."

"Senior management is clueless and doesn't care about the employees. So much opportunity to grow the business, but management hasn't the guts or an idea how to do it and don't listen to those who do. It's all about CYA."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop worrying about covering your butts and take some chances. Stop the politics and in-fighting and create a team environment. Go get D&B's market share. It's there for the taking."

"I wrote spam for one of their sub-companies - they would cross reference survey data, people wouldn't realize was for a credit company with people credit scores to spam them."
