"The Client Managers and other Executive Secretaries. Also the atmosphere was fantastic. A great company to work for."

"Be sure that this is the right career choice and place that you want to invest your time and experience at."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When it's time for management and the executive team to make decisions be mindful that there are others involved, and it's not good for the moral of the employees who will be affected to have the process prolonged."
What do you like about working at IRS?
"I really enjoyed the customer service area, because I felt like it gave me a chance to potentially make a difference in assisting the agency's past reputation as being a hard-ball-type agency."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I like this approach."
What don't you like about working at IRS?
"When I arrived at IRS, I came from another government agency, and at that time and sometimes now, the agency is not kind to outsiders. I believe its management would prefer that you grow-up in IRS, which for me confirms my suspicion during the implementation of the 1998 reorganization and transition of the agency."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If this questions continues to refer to the IRS, then my observation was that managers extensively conducting/attending meetings, which is great from a communication stance. However, I was always curious as to how does the agency think that managers are to manage if they keep them away from their employees to manage. This statement also depends upon the level of the manager. In other words, if the manager is at the executive level, more than likely he/she will be extensive travel status and/or meetings. I feel reason being is that executives are responsible for the political aspects of executing and enforcing agency business practices."

What do you like about working at May Department Stores?
"working with people and enjoying the life of retail when I was younger was alot of fun and got great discounts on clothes and other merchandise."

"the company no longer exist"
What don't you like about working at May Department Stores?
"The hours were awful during the holidays."

"Trust your employees when they tell you they would like more careet oppurtunities."

"I liked that they had 401(k) and the pension plan."

"With in the two year that I worked for them I did not noticed any thing that I really did not like."

"Company had the best family atmosphere. People actually grew-up there. Felt welcomed and challenged."
What do you like about working at Litton Industries?
"The chance to work with real rocket scientist and government contracts was exciting. I had top secret assignemnts such as document control and reporting on project updates. My boss was very thoughtful and the staff admired him."

"You missed a good thing."

"Company was sold."

"Not a thing. It wasn't their fault they closed."

"Sales based - due to economy branch offices close down & eventually affects the corporate admin staff as well - lack of job security during tough times."

"This was my first job after graduating high school and was a good training experience. Also, good opportunities for advancement."

"The ability to interface with all levels of management and staff. Home Savings was a wonderful place to work and be a part of a sucessful banking business and a place to cultivate relationships for professional growth."

"It no longer is in business. The company was bought out by Washington Mutual."

"None. As I stated above, it was a wonderful place to work at and for..."

"Litton was an amazing place to work along side real astronauts and other smart people. The atmosphere wa sad since so many people lost their jobs during te year I worked there."
What do you like about working at Litton Industries?
"The ability to learn from people who had worked in aerospace for an average of 25 years. The government contracts and regulations was interesting to learn and I gained respect for our military intelligence and projects."

"There are no interviews as this comany is no more."
What don't you like about working at Litton Industries?
"The company closed both plants (Canoga Park & Nortridge) and I was working in HR half the time so preparing the exit interviews was difficult and sad."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Appreciate your staff for their loyalty."
