"The advancement of knowledge in technology was very good. Opportunities were what you made of them, and there were many..."

"I felt like I would eventually become pidgen holed in the product I was producing, which was a product to replace a bad one.... This was something I didn't want to attach myself to."

"Although management was really good, the feeling I had with being tied to something was not something I liked. It it was not the intention then I would suggest to remedy."

"All employees except IT staff are interviewed by VP/owner but you may not get that far. Be flexible and open to relocating."

What don't you like about working at esri?

"Most of management has never worked anywhere else so things are done the ESRI way and slooooooow to change."

"Bring in experienced managers. Give real, meaningful titles. Provide career growth."

"Horrible corporate management. No employee career development or motivation. Cowboy software develepment process"

"Get experience working in a company with good corporate structure and employee management skills"

"I worked there 10 years and would still be there if I did not relocate to Sacamento."

"The ESRI campus is beautiful. Cafeteria is quite decent. Heathcare is FREE for you, your spouse and dependents. Most of my peers are decent, fun loving and believe they make a difference. Management is in complete chaos and out of touch with customer needs and requirements. The products are extremely buggy. No serious design work here. No advancement opportunity especially for women. Adverse to cutting edge technology."
