"I feel as if I have no control over my career. I have to travel 100% of the time, and I have no say in the type of work I do. I work long hours, but the content of my work is mind numbing and in no way challenging."

"I would take an interest in what my employees actually want and try to give them that within reason."

"What's on paper is not reality. What really counts is only what happens inside a few partner's offices."

"Chaotic, secretive. We go around customers reviewing and rebuilding their processes, but we can't or don't bother to make things work in our own office."

"Better organizing my schedule, trusting more my senior managers, using more the chain of command instead of jumping around the organization."

"No general bonus program for staff. Difficult to be recognized for extra effort."

"Bonus plan. Better training needed. Staff lack technical experience due to outsourcing."

"In assurance you will work long hours for garbage pay. Your utilization factor will go up faster than your earning. It is a lifeless job in audit and there is nothing they can do short of making the environment better."

"The hours are long, the pay is terrible, the work is boring and the people are overwhelmingly negative in assurance."

"I would staff more people and cut down on the hours. Too many jobs, too much work, not enough people not enough pay."

"Excel or GAAP can be learned easily but positive attitude and hard work beats the knowledge."

"When in the development of employees program, the mentor was not really interested on mentoring."
