"I worked for Equity Office before it went public and it was a fantastic place to work - people and customer focused - a real team environment!! As the company grew, went public and began disposing of assets, the face of the company changed 180 degrees - it became all financially focused and centralized taking control and business decisions far from the employees. That was several years back, so with Blackstone as a partner, I can no longer speak of the environment today."
