"I love this company! The negative reviews that people write do not make any sense to me. It is a very competitive career and it takes a lot of resilience and persistence. The pay is not bad. 40k to start. I will say that the hours are long and I put in about 50 hours a week if not more. However, that is the price to pay to be at a Fortune 500 company with a career path where you could make a lot of money very quickly. How do you get there? You work hard, you take your career in your hands and you work! Are there ways that the company can be unethical? Absolutely, but you are going to find that anywhere. It is up to you how you handle that and whether you will be unethical. I have qualified my first two months in the top 5 in the region without being unethical. It is possible. This company provides an awesome path for a career! But your career is your own, very much so! You either take control of it and work hard, or let it take control of you and blame everyone and everything around you for it. It is an awesome company!!"

What do you like about working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car?

"I liked working there as a management trainee, but I feel like I can do more. There was opportunity for advancement, but it takes a while and your salary is set. The people in the Branch were amazing, the corporate structure was a little bit eccentric at times."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure that you are ambitious, they want people to sell for them. However you do begin to level off."

What don't you like about working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car?

"I did not like that I had a set salary and the largest bonus I could get was $300/month. The corporate also imposed rules and regulations that did not apply to many areas."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would not give my direct managers any suggestions, they did a great job."

What don't you like about working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car?

"Too many hours and expectations for such a low wage. expectations are unreasonable, and management doesn't care about your work-life balance. My social and personal life has suffered immensely and because of the lengthy hours I don't even have the energy to hang out with coworkers after work. It's depressing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire more employees so we're not short staffed all the time, pay your COLLEGE GRADUATE employees more than 11 dollars an hour, and shorten our work week hours - let's be serious, it's not healthy to work 50+ hours a week."
