"I worked for Emeritus for a little less than a year. I love their company's mission and work environment. They allowed me to explore a field in which I had never worked while applying skills and fulfilling a role I am familiar with. Due to the lack of opportunity for growth, I am seeking other employment. Aside from that, it was a great opportunity."

"this job was more of a secretarial job to many dept. heads while doing several other jobs as well. The phone system is obsolete. The expectations are above and beyond with no compensation."

"This company is all about the stock holders. Has no regard for employees or residents. Very sad place to work. Promises are broken, understaffed, management is poorly trained. There is no appreciation for those that work hard."

"I enjoyed working with the residents, if you like working with the elderly then assisted living is a good line of work for you. However, Emeritus provided very little support in terms of training. You'll constantly be expected to work 6 days a week, and nearly 12 hours a day with very little gratitude. In addition, you'll be told many times that you'll be receiving support, but you'll never see any of it. A good job to have between jobs."
