"If interviewing with Aerus, you need to be able to communicate well with customers and do product demonstrations. With Elecktrolux currently you have to be able to market a line of top end major appliances carrying the Electrolux name and the Frigidaire name."

What don't you like about working at Electrolux?

"Back then Branch Manager had a considerable financial risk involved."

"N/A as company has changed hands. It is now called Aerus, and is 100% franchise owned and operated."

"The work which was like nothing I ever did before, reading shop drawings and order professional kitchen equipment from worth millions and the trust to order it. The employees and the projects."

"Good company to work for. Its all about accuracy, very important, dealing with a lot of money if you because a contracts person or a project coordinator. Pricing is also very important."

"Sometimes the division between Electrolux and Baring Industries employees. We all worked for the same company under the same roof."

"Follow the procedural rules that are written for company."

"Better know what you are signing up for ..... Don't trust your interviewer. Ask more questions and meet you peer group and all direct reports for candid feedback."

"Asking questions does not matter since they will not tell you the truth."

What don't you like about working at Electrolux?

"I was hired as a designer at their air-conditioning plant. Three months later we were told electrolux did not want to be in the air-conditioning business and China would make our product. Five months after that I was told I would be changed from a salary employee to a hourly employee because my manager tried to pull a fast one on the union. The union agreement was to have a union member in engineering. Since that person retired and I was the last one hired, I was given a ultimatum to take their offer or be layed off, I took it. When the factory closed, engineering was transferred to a small office and we were told we would be technology pushers for china. Three months later we were layed off but now we did not qualify for plant closure unemployment benefits, just regular benefits."
