"If you like open space and you like being interrupted (some people call it dynamic environment), go for it. Make sure you know PHP and Oracle SQL very well."
What don't you like about working at Elance?
"Open space environment is distracting, especially when you sit next to customer support people. Code review ad-hoc process with random interruptions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire more entry level engineers and less seniors. It will save money and increase morale of the team. Fix the work environment, engineers need quiet environment with no interruptions."
