"In the Comm. Studies department, it is important to be extremely self-organized because the system itself is not, so while interviewing, show how good you are at organizing yourself and show a knowledge of having worked with minorities."
What don't you like about working at El Camino College?
"In the communication studies department there is far too much pressure on the junior faculty and a sense of lack of control of one's own authority as a faculty member. The dean often makes junior faculty and office staff feel like her minions."

"Be less demanding of faculty for all sorts of busy work and allow them to focus on their jobs."
