"I found eGain a completely different Silicon Valley company than I had worked for several years before. Money is everything at eGain. Nobody in the Docs department helps one another. It is not a collegial atmosphere. However, they are very good at selling and marketing their software. The manuals are not user-friendly and the supervisor, who is not trained in technical writing, but is prolific, only believes in minimalism. So questions the user may have are not answered and are left to training."

"Secrecy, bad cultural fit for those who do not have a relative or friend at the top, woman-unfriendly, HR department unhelpful to employees, exceedingly bad environment for non-teleworkers and awful office space."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Try to keep talent you hire by actually training and helping them to acclimate to the new role. The HR department should be re-tooled."
