"Bad employee relations. They made poor construction managers."
"Edward Don was a big corporation all about making money. Not interested in training or educating employees."
"Most of these websites are for prospective salespeople in my view. What a disastrous place to work and try to get up each morning motivated to work! First of all, if hired, you will have absolutely no help or training. You will have a supervisor who will know nothing about what you are selling or understand the commission because in most cases he will know even less than you! You will starve to death for 2 to 3 years while you are figuring out how to sell on your own! As you learn and start making some money the scheming in the background will start because you are making more money than your boss! You know the territory adjustments! This company does not know how to treat its salespeople. This company has all the tools to become one of the foremost companies in the sales business."
"Benefits are almost non-existent. Workplace morale is worse than you could imagine. CEO is so cheap because he values money over people. This cheapness and bad will ooze down like a disease. Don't expect to ever be able to retire at Don. You have work elsewhere to do this.Only reason the business still grows is because Don customers are foolish and overpay for basic supplies. Business model is not sustainable long term. But management doesn't get it and can't focus beyond the next sale."
"I worked for this company for for a few years. Regional Managers and District Managers are poorly trained in how to manage. Intimidation is not a management tool. They are poor motivators and the incentives are poor. They look at numbers and not individuals. They take accounts away and do not adjust budgets. Technology is very good. Delivery is timely most of the time."
