"EDUCAUSE has a strong community that it has properly fostered over the years. They have tried to be nimble in providing topical and pertinent events and resources for higher education. The people, individually, are top-notch. However, the content and events are siloed into departments that can be difficult to work with."

"Do refrain from excessive capitalization."

What do you like about working at EDUCAUSE?

"They give a lot of time off. They also have soda in the fridge, and their coffee is good. The workspace is high tech but somehow climate control is hard because the skinniest girl in the office controls the thermostat. Or the hot flash older women are moving it around too."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't. I'd run away right now and come back when they fix things internally."

What don't you like about working at EDUCAUSE?

"The culture, the attitude against our group, the poor decisions of the management; the lack of communication upward and outward and the double standard that exists in requiring overcommunication from us."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Learn how to manage. Don't treat people like children. Offer real benefits. Don't bait and switch with benefits."
