"Interviewing is a fairly lengthy process. Be prepared for interviewing with people directly in your group, adjacent to your group, and a few who are unrelated to your group."

"Many managers are just getting started and have room to grow their management of employees."

"Value employee feedback. When employees express a concern, heed it rather than work against the employee."
