"As a student, I worked as a teaching assistant with the Department of Chemistry at East Carolina University. The department is very welcoming and competent. My supervisor led weekly meetings to address concerns both from them and from us. Getting to help the students was the best experience though. It was very character-building and taught me a lot about myself. I would recommend any student to work as a lab assistant or teaching assistant. You gain a lot of soft skills."

Instructor

"I have worked at the college for 18 months. I enjoyed developing relationships with others within different departments. There are many opportunities to develop great relationships. There are few opportunities for employment in the various departments. The salary for part-time and adjuncts is not ideal for innovative professionals. There is a great culture at the company, but there is a lack of opportunity for full-time employment."
