"This company has an aging core management staff with no manager seat turnover (same positions held for 20-30 years by same people), this hinders the opportunity for advancement and the ability to hire new outside managing staff. This also makes the landscape for proposing new ideas and new methodology for manufacturing difficult to change within this company. Some long term managers have demonstrated their incompetence towards being an effective communicator with manager to manager as well as manager to subordinates staff communication skills. There was also some lack of professionalism displayed by some managers towards their subordinate staff, customers and suppliers. The parent company of Eberhard Manufacturing also has some corporate governance issues as well. The average Board of Director seat tenure is upwards of 20 years, which again makes the leadership and growth become stagnant. The lack of accountability by its VPs, managing directors and sub-management staff makes the company’s overall performance mediocre. The lack of cross checking, or checks and balances among the board of directors as well as executives is a bad case corporate cronyism."
"Overall good company."
