"ELNK has a foot in the door of many industry outlets. Its a great place to start, transition and grow."

What don't you like about working at EarthLink?

"Distance, the deterioration of off shore work to offshore hire, legacy knowledge and work ethic changed to more strict and more how do we do this"

"Don't grow up so fast. ELNK is a telecommunications company but I don't use any service or software from them."

"I enjoyed having that open-door policy of being able to talk directly to Sky Dayton. I also enjoyed the income potential."

"Just stay focused on the questions and remember this is/was a fun company to work for."

What don't you like about working at EarthLink?

"Towards the end, I didn't like some of the choices that were made in regards to who should be our supervisors, because there were two people whom I didn't feel were qualified for the position."

"I would suggest they return to the way the company used to be structured in the past."

"Great coworkers: friendly and funny. Very relaxed dress code. Like being in the technology industry. Liked working for a growing company (no more) with many challenges. Liked learning new things and taking on new responsibilities."

"Downsizing. Resource limitations constraining ideas."

What do you like about working at EarthLink?

"I only really worked in the PeoplePC branch, which is now closed, but I liked the people. Excellent bonuses, benefits, and severance. They also paid for any mass transit expenses."

"No opportunity to work with up to date technologies. Lack of interesting work."

"Corporate restructuring every 6 months-1 year. Redefined their mission too often."

"Focus on what will work for EarthLink in the future, invest wisely and keep the momentum without changing gears too often."

"Initially around 2003 I loved it. Learned some much and we had such a great culture and team work that was top notch."

"Why go...they are sinking."

"Too many re-organizations broke up the structure that soon broke down the culture and morale of the company."

"Listen to your employees."

"Earthlink was a great company but they closed down the Omaha location so I had to look for other opportunities"

"The Technical Experince I had from working there. The company thought me a lot of my technical skills"

"working with really old computers like windows 95 and 98 to fix them for people that were not very technology savvy."

"The company is no longer in business"

"I really enjoyed my managers and the people who worked their with me. I also enjoyed the many relationships I created with EarthLink's chosen vendors."

"The merger of Mindspring and EarthLink which changed the company forever."
