"Depending where you are coming for, and what you are trying to accomplish, DynCorp is not a bad company. I would not advice it as a career path"
What don't you like about working at DynCorp?
"They are not treating all foreign nationals the same. There is no job continuity after you finish with the contracting part of it. You can't see any promotions"

"I will listen more to my employees, I will treat them fair, fire the lazy ones and keep the hard workers."

"What I enjoy about working at DynCorp International is the ability to work with a large group of good guys who are prior military."

"I hae the opportunity to run the shop and supervise when my direct supervisor is away on travel or vacation. However they do not advertise management positions and just hand pick who they want to promote."
What don't you like about working at DynCorp?
"upper management is very military llike and likes to treat their workers like their still in the military. They do not understand that things are run differently with the new generation and it takes it diferent ways and strategies to motivate their employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If I were running the show I would try and make things more efficient especially the way maintenance is conducted and documented. I would also try to make more proactive decisions and not overact/react to situations when they happen."
"Not every Dyncorp team is the same. However the company has a hard time escaping the military style of leadership which is a problem for me."
"Prefer not to comment on unethical terminations and unethical hiring practices in addition to inexperienced management who has no regard for their own employees. I am working on the LogCap side of the company overseas and the mentality here is what happens on project stays on project and leadership has instilled fear of retaliation to the employees that do not go with the flow or play along."
"Company was good in the early years when the team was fresh in 2001. Problem is that the same CFT has been on site for 13yrs and the maintenance has been slacking with no expert QA/oversight. Their attitude now at that site is, "aw it's broke - ship it out anyway, JAX 900DIV ship us another, HOW MUCH MONEY IN SHIPPING COSTS to the NAVY?"
