"Good crew members to work with, all right uniforms-gets hot in the summer though, and get to be out of an office. PAY is too low versus the responsibilities, liabilities, and risks. $10 an hour versus getting popped in the head. ATM Tech's get a wow .75cent raise to be in the execution position, in plain site of the public, with more money than most people make in three years of their lives. It's a bad place to collect a pay check and there is no real money to be made. Promotions are a laughable joke. Training that doesn't account for the serious nature of the job, and training that was received was not enough. Majority of learning takes place on route with your other crew member whoever that might be; and Dunbar does not pay that crew member a Field Training bonus for the extra effort he/she has to put in dealing with the trainee. Majority of fleet vehicles have 400,000+ miles on them. Some with holes through the floor boards or patched with metal too thin to be worthy of the claim "armored". Trucks do break down consistently and cause massive delays which leads to added hours on a work schedule; however, despite working a 12 hour day driver/hoppers are not entitled to overtime pay under DOT laws as others in this industry have stated online. Long work days, weeks, and months. Horrible and phony managers and work values. Negligent and dangerous work environment. Worst of all is the fact that my brothers and sisters have been killed on the job with little to no recognition for who they were or how they went out. Do not take a job with Dunbar. It isn't worth any of your sacrifices."
