"I do NOT recommend working for this company (Long, unpaid hours, lack of Training. Pros -Car provided for the job. -People in the Engineering/resource side are awesome to work with. Cons - LACK OF TRAINING despite promises: If you're new out of University, this job is not for you. They will not give you adequate training but will assume you're supposed to know everything, even if they promise you training. - LONG UNPAID HOURS: You're expected to work long, long hours with no over time pay or compensation. In the end you end up working 12-13 hour days, and even weekends. The working conditions and tasks can be mundane, mind numbing and less than ideal. are also expected work long hours and are not compensated for over-time, expected to hand in projects/assignments with unrealistic deadlines. In the end your actual hourly salary ends up being a LOT less because of unpaid over-time. All in all I've lost 200+ hours working overtime . - BAD TREATMENT: The sales team is probably one of the worst, scummy group I have worked with. Additionally, there were plenty of red flags with how I was treated because I was new, despite them knowing I was a new grad hire."
"DuBois is a good company, but needs to focus more on employee retention and less on overall growth."
"This company is too focused on growth and does not value its employees. Employee retention is done reactively after an employee has already received another offer of employment from a new company. The CEO has to personally approve each new hire and compensation increase for every position in the company. Everyone who is not the CEO or his VP of Business development is just a pawn. Nobody's opinion matters.....ever for any reason. New acquisitions are treated like outcasts and imposters. By far the most toxic environment I've ever been associated with."
