What do you like about working at DSS Staffing?

"DSS Staffing Solutions, is like any other company, they are there to make a profit. They did try to give Xmas gifts a couple of years when I worked for them, one year it was coffee mugs, and another year it was a gift certificate for Kroger Foods. The DSS Staffing personnel did come around often, to see what was going on. I remember that One year I asked if I had to take off, for the week, because my entire division was out of town at a convention, and they said if the department did not have a problem with it, they did not either."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just be yourself, and remember to be at the interview at least 30 minutes, make sure that you know what you are talking about. Because after all they are the one who will forward your information to the hiring Managers, so the decision is really up to the Company that DSS Staffing is contracting with. Some Company are better than others."

What don't you like about working at DSS Staffing?

"The thing that I did not like about DSS Staffing, is that they actually have very little knowledge of what you are doing in your position. You as the employee would have to notify DSS Staffing, whenever your job duties increased, and then they would check with the Manager or Supervisor to see if they were able to give you a raise. This was a slow process, but if you did not inform them they would not contact you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The Management was fine, they were helpful, when there was a problem, once it was brought to their attention. The only thing is that DSS Staffing will not question why you are being let go, they just follow orders."
