Driftwood Hospitality Management, LLC Employee

"Like every job at the beginning is great, Over time I was starting to notice the kitchen staff & The Banquet team would always be late in prepping for an event it was almost 90% of the time. if I was to have that happen at my prior properties it wouldn't fly! In the process of hiring, I communicated via email to the hiring manager that if OVERTIME was acceptable since they were only paying me hourly & said yes. First red flag: My superior utilized my PTO without my permission just to add hours to my paycheck. I followed up with an email asking why that was and seemed confused somehow. 2nd red flag: The Hotel was bought out for only a night on NYE from a group (Swingers) They scammed my team & me out of promised gratuities from 4 different areas. 3rd red flag: I received a call from my superior during my shift asking me about why I didn't check for food availability from what I remember it's not part of my responsibility you give ppl time off without planning accordingly. I was let go for speaking my mind and addressing their issues.. which honestly I don't regret."
