"Ability to be innovative. Freedom to seek approval for funding for R & D projects. The engineers are always willing to help and are a pleasure to work with. Work is usually interesting."

"It's generally a good place to work, but it isn't perfect, and there are some unpleasant aspects to deal with."

"Preferential treatment sometimes given to certain individuals which sometimes does not appear to based on accomplishment or experience. Praise is given for good work performed but nothing much beyond that.."

"Return to the old Draper where freedom to create was encouraged."

"I like working here do the diversity of the work. I've worked mostly on military applications and enjoy the challenge."

What don't you like about working at Draper Laboratory?

"Sometimes interesting projects end abruptly due to funding. When that happens, you may have to work on a project that doesn't fit your skill set."

"I think management needs to assess each employee on skill and interests. With this knowledge, the can best evaluate them and fit them into proper work roles."
