"My favorite aspect of working at Doordash is setting my own hours. I do not have to worry about telling anybody in advance on taking a day off for other tasks such as fixing my car or cleaning my apartment. I also just love driving around in my car and blasting music on Spotify."

"Worst place ever! Everything is a lie, the support/ dispatch department is immature, vindictive, useless. Useless because that uselessness to help anyone with the very real issues enable Doordash to rip you of no matter if you are a merchant, customer and or dasher. The million lies, games they play on everyone but especially dashers that wastes the time, money and efforts of the dasher is endless, they do not make the monies they should, dashers are held back from achieving whatever the goal is they strive to obtain. Do not believe a 700.00 per week pay is obtainable in a 60 hr work week. The income is not stable, fluctuates constantly. Everything about this company is a blatant lie. Every aspect of a drivers work life with this company is being controlled by this company. New hires experience some freedoms making it seem like a great job. Its not they advertise deliver when you want where you want. Not true. Independent contractors decide how to go about doing the job, Doordash is not to have any control and say how a driver goes about picking up a order to then delivering the order. Doordash wants to control every aspect and the rip you off. They send drivers on wild goose chases wasting their time and gas so Doordash then does not have to pay drivers the promised rates. So they jerk drivers for a 4 hour time period four thirty to eight thirty Friday night when pay per delivery is high so they do not have to pay that rate to all the drivers they have on the roads. They manipulate the driver app to keep some drivers from working all together. I can only image to phase them out to bring in new unsuspecting hires. They rip off everyone. Customer ordered large pizza but received a small. No refund. Merchant made a order but no one picked it up then four hrs. later someone shows up, the order should be remade but Doordash doesn't pay merchant again. SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN. SCAM RIP OFF ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS"

"I have really enjoyed working for DoorDash and Uber Eats. They can be fast paced at times. They require me to work under deadlines, which are generally very short timeframes because of delivering hot meals. I also have to interact with the customers so customer service is extremely important. My motto is treat others the way you’d like to be treated."

"DoorDash is a rocketship in the start-up world. Only 7 years old, there is a tremendous growth opportunity for a determined individual that wants to jump along the rocketship to success."

"Doordash is an amazing company to work for. They value your work, and balance is important. Throughout my time there I was hired as an outbound agent vetting my own leads, and hit my goal 4 months in a row before transitioning into an inbound role. Movement in lateral positions is relatively simple given you work really hard. I am looking for a new role because career path is not clear with them pursuing IPO."

"I like everything about my current employment: everything but the commute. I live in Newark City and have to come to SF downtown four times a week. It became very difficult for me and my family."

"The company is great and the perks/benefits are great. The downside is the lack of opportunities available for FTE conversion for contractors due to limited budgeting."
