Our main product is an amalgamation of three different frameworks, two of which are home grown and outdated. Our marching orders come from a business unit that has no concept of the technical requirements of what they ask and they set unrealistic deadlines. for example, we had to migrate from Oracle to MySQL/SOLR in under two months, over the Christmas holiday season. (which went surprisingly well thanks to 60 hour work weeks)"
