"D-Link Systems, Inc. - A Great Place to Work"

What do you like about working at D-Link systems?

"D-Link was for the most part a very FUN place to work. They did their very best to make the work environment as comfortable and fun as possible. The break room (or lunch room) had games where people on breaks or lunch hours would play and also a basketball court outside the lunch room for those who wanted to hang outside during the lunches or breaks. D-Link is close to shopping and dining (even a Starbucks Coffee shop!). A very good friend of mine even lived close to D-Link, so we had lunch together often while I was working there. I was extremely happy with their compensation package and pay."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"All I can say about interviewing with this company is to go about it the way you would interviewing with any other company. It is very hard to find jobs in today's economy. If you stay positive as I did in my interview with them before I was hired, you will most likely be hired. You won't regret it. D-Link is in my opinion the best company to work for!"

What don't you like about working at D-Link systems?

"I wasn't to happy with the room where our RMA Department was located. The acoustics were very bad, so you could hear everyone throughout the room talking loud. There would be a sort of an echo in the room. The cubicles should have been taller or with a material that would drown out or absorb the sound from others who were talking."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that the rooms where there is a lot of phone activity like the RMA Room and Tech Support have more sound proof material to drown out the sound while people are talking"

Director of Sales

"Company was in financial transition in US and turnover was over 60% across all functions."

What do you like about working at D-Link systems?

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't. Look elsewhere"

What don't you like about working at D-Link systems?

"Excessive turnover in sales staff (all had less than two years tenure) and the administrative staff was similar."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Constant state of flux detrimentally impacted all performance across functions. Need to institute feedback review on performance basis ... 360 degrees would be exceptionally insightful"

"DLink has a cultural problem. They do not listen to the customer, look to satisfy consumer needs and look for long term solutions or business practices. Reactionary and without their own strategy, they look to sell things ASAP regardless if they are ready to go to market or not. (Marketing wise or QA wise) Not a good work environment."
