"One of the most challengeing roles of my career, and one of the most fulfilling. Unfortunately senior leadership was not sales focused."

What do you like about working at Centex?

"Enjoyed the challenge of insuring Centex's sales success through role as mortgage partner, then ultimately responsible for sales execution through mortgage programs."

What don't you like about working at Centex?

"Senior leadership focused on efficiency rather than sales, and did not understand that buying and financing real estate involves emotional decisions. This lead to company failure."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus on sales and use mortgage programs to insure sales success. Payment often drive sales, and in a more fixed rate, fully qualified world, focusing on offering lower payments is often the most effective sales strategy."
