"Understand the culture mix and differences within Honeywell. The former AlliedSignal (the blue portion) is GE style, while the former Honeywell (the red) is a very traditional Midwest operation."

"Have less IT reorganizations. Was slowed down by many and laid off at the last."

"Infinite number of challenges and work to be done bringing the company up to modern standards."

"Try to find an internal employee to act as your advocate and network with those responsible for filling or managing the position."

"Inability of legacy management to adapt to change, manage change and focus resources on most critical business drivers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get out of the business of writing custom code. Outsource most IT infrastructure and development to US based vendors/providers. Information Technology should not be a core competency for a Bank/Financial Services company as it is taking focus/energy/funds away from developing financial products/solutions and impairing operational readiness, flexibility, time to market, etc."

"If you are interviewing for US Paycard, I am sure you will enjoy your employment."

"Delayed paychecks and continued power struggle between CTO and CEO, eventually brought the company to a closure."

"None, the company was closed and the investor split off from the CEO and created US Paycard, LLC. They are still in business to this day."

"Large and growing organization that had the potential for opportunities and growth. Wide range of utilized technologies."

"Get a complete understanding of expectations and what are the priorities for being successful."

"A very disjointed IT structure which hindered the proper balancing of resources in areas of need. Overstaffed PMO office while level 1,2 and 3 support areas were dramatically understaffed. Inefficient manner of prioritizing projects and alignment of resources."

"TD Banknorth management needed to look at the structure utilized by successful competitors. Reorganization in the IT areas classified as Grow the business required for success. The Run the business manager needs to really get an understanding of what support is in a banking environment and how the area should be structured."
