"If you're young and want to build some experience, take a job at Quanta and work as hard as you can. Once you've acquired the skill sets, you'll want to move forward..."

"Married to my job; A senior management culture that often thought of safety as an intrusion on operations."

"Pay close attention to what the guys at DuPont are trying to tell you. Safety and profitability do not have to be mutually exclusive."

"The conflict with superintendents about the cost of employee safety versas profit"

"I no longer work there. However, what I enjoyed most was the personal relationship I had with The President of CII, Karim Kamel Toug -he was and remains a very personable, intelligent and charismatic leader and friend, making time for those that needed to be heard. I could not have been treated more fairly and honestly."

"Be honest in everything you say. They will know the difference."

"I didn't dislike anything about working for CII. I would have preferred more time in the field but that was not our arrangement."

"Delegate more responsibility to senior subordinate leaders and hold them accountable. The president and vice-president carry too much of the load."
