  "For 12 years, I worked with HCR Manor Care. In a current age with constant healthcare changes, HCR Manor Care has proven itself to be a stable leader in the area of subacute healthcare. The company is very proactive in preparing for reimbursement changes with extensive training to staff. An area for improvement would be more opportunities for advancement that would include clinical and non-clinical roles. The regional manager assigned to my area was very hands on and extremely knowledge. This was very important during times where immediate problem solving and troubleshooting were needed. Overall, the company at the local facility level did their best to promote employee appreciation and teamwork. Many staff, including myself, would have welcomed more of the same from the corporate level on a regular basis. Manor Care is one of a few companies who appear to be getting it right with subacute rehab as evidenced by their longstanding history in the healthcare industry."
