"The division that I work for gives you a lot of autonomy and allows you to be creative"

"When interviewing, ask a lot of questions about financials and cash/resource availability."
What don't you like about working at ORBITEC?
"There is a definite lack of resources and cash flow to successfully complete the job. The parent company does not understand manufacturing very well."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get the proper resources and cash flow to make the business successful"

What do you like about working at Telephonics?
"My fellow workers were cooperative and agreeable, easy to work with. Most everyone there with a few exceptions has a keene interest in doing a good job and producing a quality product."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Think twice, no three times before accepting a position with this company. I don't know of many people who like working at this place. If you like an old style (1950's) management culture this is the place for you!"
What don't you like about working at Telephonics?
"In certain areas management has developed a culture of ruling by fear, with the threat of job loss if mistakes are made. This severely stymies creativitiy."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Time to seriously think about cleaning house at the senior management level."

"I had worked there so long everyone was like Family."

"Stay away. The company is not doing well and it looks like they never will again"

"The CEO, Did not like the new CEO from 2005, not a people person"
