"Doing Audio Visual and relationships with the hotel. Successful shows for clients."

"Get the salary and position going in, promises made are not kept."
What don't you like about working at American Audio Visual Center?
"Company growing too fast with dysfunction growing. Small company, small mentality, corporate heavy. Recently a lot of time spent on talking about shows not successfully sold."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Purchase newer equipment, hire more experienced staff, invest less in corporate titles and more in support staff for properties. Focus on showing staff shows, that have actually been sold and not on shows pitched but not accepted."

"Working with a ton of A/V equipment, setting up big presentations, working with tons of people."

"If you enjoy A/V and you think you would enjoy setting up big shows, then give it a shot."

"Extreme high pressure. Hours get out of control. I was given very little budget to work with."

"Get ready to bust your back for little compensation."

"It's an older building and can stand to be update with the changing tecnolgy."

"Eveybody does there respective jobs well. To continue doing what they do."

What do you like about working at Swank Audio Visuals?
"Decent management, vacation time was fair. Learned a LOT of technical skills in my two years there. Got LOADS of experience working with high end clients. High pressure and fast paced environment where you learn to work on your toes and under pressure."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are down work some long hours for near decent pay this is the place for you. The hours were long but I learned SO much and interacted with a LOT of people. Great place to hone your technical expertise. I noticed that SwankAV hired real quality people. Most everyone that worked there was down to earth and really cool. I do not regret working for this company, it was a great experience!"
What don't you like about working at Swank Audio Visuals?
"LONG hours. During the week and on the weekends. The overtime scale was not fair. You DO NOT get time and a half for overtime. It is calculated by a formula which does not make much sense"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Fix the OT issue and I might still be working at this place!"
