"I love the clients. The smallest gesture can make their day. Leaving work and feeling like you have really accomplished something is a great feeling. You may not see the results right away but you know you are making a difference in the their lives. I don't hate anything about the work I do, but to read and hear some of the background stories, about the clients, can be heartbreaking."
"What I love the most are the clients. What I hate is the trauma the clients have experienced that led them to Grafton or any such facility."

"Being a Direct Support Professional is one of the best jobs in the world while being one of the worst at the same time. Nothing is more rewarding than helping those in need and developing a family like report with them. On the other hand the work can be gross, underpaid, and under appreciated. Being a DSP is also a job that is all year round, so no holidays off, which is difficult to deal with."

What do you like about working at Beverly Farm Foundation?
"I like the residents that I helped, was Adults with mental disabilities"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Expect to work your ass off, and expect to have to stay over to who knows when. Also, keep your mouth shut about getting hurt, the Farm will get rid of you. Turn it into state, not the farm cause all they will do is fire you."
What don't you like about working at Beverly Farm Foundation?
"I was hurt at work, and they fired me. Talk about something that is ILLEGAL. Start, you out with less than min wage, and after 90 days you then go to min wage. In 2 days I worked 25hrs one with a 18hr shift, and then a 6hr shift. They treat all the DSP's out there like crap. and dont listen to them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Dont do ILLEGAL stuff. EXAMPLE, firing, people for getting hurt. when you are the reason we get hurt. Listen to the DSP's, the dsp is suppose to be the in between person, Dsp's deal with the residents daily, so listen, dont be hot headed. Dont listen to everything that the supervisors say, cause it just might be a LIE. Investigate the whole situation, before you make a final decision. You act like the DSP is always in the wrong, when he/she might not be. Care for your workers, they are part of the reason you make the big bucks"

"the only ggod if selfworth you are trying to help mentally or phically challened people improve the livesgood dental benifits"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"They will give anyone a job,No one wants to work with them as they treat employees very badly UNLESS your in Management !!MY ADVISE find another co to work for"
What don't you like about working at The Mentor Network?
"No advancement oppertunities as they preech,Lousey Pay,Break state regs,management is on a power tripCare nothing about the clients or employees cut every corner for their bottom line!!Also as to medical benifits they are not cheap companys not giving you a break"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Fire them all, get new management that works with their employees and TRUELY CARE ABOUT THE CLIENTS WELFARE,Pay your workers that are in the field more,Communicate better"
