Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be yourself and have an outgoing/go-getter personality with the ability to provide good customer service."
What don't you like about working at Dillard's?
"I do not like SPH (sales per hour) you must meet or you will actually get a pay cut by a certain percentage. This has no bearing on other tasks not measured by sales such as stock, cleaning, customer care, etc."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Perhaps a more effective training program and consistent company message to employees would be beneficial."
What do you like about working at Dillard's?

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Make sure that you want to work at Dillard's. Growth in the company is slow to almost nothing. It takes 15 years to become a sales manager if you start as a sales associate with the company. Don't faint when they start with the pay cut and probation."
What don't you like about working at Dillard's?
"I didn't like quotas and decreased pay. Sales managers are allowed to take their associates' sales to make their quotas, and promotions are not easy. For an associate to be promoted, they ask all other associates to give a certain amount of their sales to that associate."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The problem with Dillard's is that they cut pay when quotas are not being met. They can cut pay three times in 90 days. They never take into account that it's slow, etc. No matter what the circumstance, it's your fault. You can work your butt off for that company and there are no rewards. If the management likes you, they will keep you on for as long as possible. If I was running this company, I would change the structure of the quotas to align with the economy."
"I have enjoyed working here at Dillard's. It has helped me grow as a sales associate."

"Making your sales per hour is possible at Dillard's, but being consistent as a worker is important."
What don't you like about working at Dillard's?
"My schedule was never consistent, and the new schedule for the next month we would not get until the day before, so it was hard to plan anything ahead of time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest more team meetings to further drive business and provide great customer service."
"I work for a great company, although I don't see much growth for myself."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Anyone needs to have an awesome work ethic. Customer service is key."

"Don't treat everyone as just a number that can eventually be replaced."
"Dillard's supports unethical salesmanship."
What do you like about working at Dillard's?
"I like some of the coworkers, my new manager, and the employee discount."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Interviewing is easy, but keeping the job is more difficult. It's nearly impossible to reach sales goals."
What don't you like about working at Dillard's?
"I don't like unethical sales and lack of management support, especially in today's market. Meeting sales goals is impossible unless you're willing to be unethical. There is a VERY high turnover."

"Fire them all and hire better/ethical. Find managers who want ALL their employees to succeed."
