What do you like about working at Digital Equipment Corp.?

"I loved the inter-action with the 17 European countries which I supported. I was the home office support for 17 Technical Directors. I enjoyed the relationships I built with those leaders. I earned their professional respect and likewise."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"This company was bought out by HP and I do not know anything about the culture of HP. It is my understanding they are very progressive, yet also 'old school' in their policies and procedures which could be a big advantage in obtaining a good job which would lead to a career."

What don't you like about working at Digital Equipment Corp.?

"I did not like the political split at the top of the company. The company lost a lot of quality when they lost the Founder and CEO, Rod Canion."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management was a little insensitive to the stress many of these jobs created because the industry was so 'fast growing.'"
