"No longer there. Company was great until they bought out Airborne Express. Then things started to change and layoff process began. Slow slide from there to where they are now. It was a great company and they treated their employees with respect. Also got to travel quite frequently as they were big on training managers."

"I learned a lot about staffing, payroll and managing large groups of employees in high pressure environments. During my employment at DHL I worked every shift and learned almost every aspect of operations that they had to offer."

"If you were interviewing at DHL I would advise to make sure that you are dedicated to your customers because drivers spend a lot of their day coaching customers to set up a shipment properly."
What don't you like about working at DHL Express?
"I didn't enjoy that towards the end the company was very unstable and I was unsure from week to week whether I was going to have a job or not."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think DHL needed more standardization like UPS has. Every DHL station is very different whereas at UPS everybody is on the same page."

"Co-workers were the best bunch of people I have ever worked with."
