Detroit Diesel Employee

"Daimler is a very large employer who has invested around a half-billion dollars in the Detroit diesel factory and facilities. They were very fair and conscientious when faced with financial difficulties caused by the recession of 2008.The people are culturally and ethnically diverse, attracting highly skilled engineers from around the world. That said, it is a large company and some things move slowly (the company switched to Windows 7 in 2013). Advancement can be similarly slow."
