"Just be yourself. Tell the truth about yourself and it will get you in the door."

"I really don't like interacting with the inmates, I just don't feel comfortable."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think that management needs to hire more people to work in the jail."

"The direct supervisors were very aware of their officers but were somewhat ineffective due to the lack of support from upper management."

"Listen to the employees when suggestions are given instead of rushing to an evaluation of an employee."

"It can be very dangerous dealing with inmates. This job could use more structure in its rules and safety as far as keeping officers private lives more private."

"The staff over me was hateful, racist, and inconsistent in how they ran things."

"Fire everyone and hire an entirely different group of supervisors in the detention center."
