Develop a singular vision with fiscal and editorial goals that are well-thought out, planned and directed on an annual basis with quarterly, monthly and weekly reviews and reportinhg so the appropriate actions can be taken to stay the course or get back on track. Initiate a policy of Zero Tolerance for unprofessional behavior which leads to formal warnings and terminations of insubordinate employees.
Stronger top down management, a demand for accountability in terms of goaling of sales people and regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews. Less tolerance of departmental and staff in-fighting and employee insubordination.
